Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to shop with shraddha and confidence. This policy explains returns, refunds, and cancellations for Ishwarmart products and services.

1. Overview

Because many Ishwarmart offerings are handcrafted, consecrated, or prepared for specific rituals, our refund rules differ by product type. Please read the relevant section below before placing your order. For help, contact us on WhatsApp at +91 84259 90531 within the timelines stated.

2. Physical products (puja samagri & idols)

Damaged or wrong item delivered

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video of the package and product.
  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund once the issue is verified. Return shipping for our error is borne by Ishwarmart.

Defective or significantly not as described

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Minor variations in handmade idols (colour tone, weight, artisan finish) are normal and not grounds for return.

Change of mind

  • Returns for change of mind are accepted only on unused, unopened non-consecrated items in original packaging within 3 days of delivery, subject to inspection.
  • Return courier charges are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Non-returnable items

  • Custom or personalised orders (configured idols, engraved items)
  • Opened incense, attar, consumable puja materials used or partially used
  • Items marked as final sale or festival-limited editions
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage after delivery

3. Order cancellation (before dispatch)

You may cancel a product order free of charge if it has not yet been packed or dispatched. Message us on WhatsApp as early as possible with your order reference.

Once an order is shipped, cancellation is not possible — please refer to the returns section above after delivery.

4. Online puja bookings

  • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled puja time are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling at no extra charge.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours may incur up to 50% deduction to cover pandit, samagri, and temple coordination costs.
  • No-shows or cancellations after the puja has commenced are non-refundable.
  • If Ishwarmart or the assigned pandit cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or priority rescheduling.

5. Astrology & Kundli services

  • Free Kundli generation on the website is provided at no charge and is non-refundable by definition.
  • Paid consultation or detailed report orders may be cancelled before report generation begins for a full refund.
  • Once a personalised report or live consultation session has been delivered or conducted, refunds are not available except in cases of verified technical failure on our side.

6. Donations (Dan Seva)

Donations made toward temples, Gau Seva, Gurukuls, or Bhandara are generally non-refundable once transferred to the designated cause, as funds are allocated promptly. If a donation was made in error (duplicate payment or wrong amount), contact us within 24 hours with payment proof and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

7. Prasad box & perishable items

Edible prasad and perishable items cannot be returned once dispatched for hygiene and safety reasons. Report transit damage or spoilage within 24 hours of delivery with photos for replacement or partial refund consideration.

8. Refund processing

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer, etc.) within 7–10 business days of approval.
  • Bank or UPI processing times may add additional days beyond our control.
  • Store credit may be offered as an alternative where a direct refund is not practical; we will always seek your consent first.

9. How to request a refund or return

Contact us with the following details:

  • Full name and order/booking reference
  • Phone number used at the time of purchase
  • Reason for return or cancellation
  • Photos or videos (for damaged or incorrect items)

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 1–2 business days and resolve them as quickly as possible with transparency and respect.
